La canción de Navidad fue escritra por Frederick Coots y Haven Gillespie. Fue interpretada por primera vez en el programa de radio de Eddie Cantor en el año 1934.
Desde el primer momento, se convirtió en todo un éxito, alcanzando las 500.000 copias vendidas en poco tiempo.
